Dr. Keys was inspired to write Grand Angel after her daughter asked questions about grandparents who had passed away. What began as an impromptu bedtime story for her daughter slowly blossomed into a popular children's book.
Grand Angel is a heart-warming story for children in the early grades that opens their hearts and expands their faith by painting a beautiful picture of Heaven, angels, and the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren. Nyla reflects on the wonderful times she spent with her grandmother, Granny B. When Granny B. passes away, Nyla is taken on a spiritual, imaginative ride to Heaven to see what it is really like.
This inspirational story provides young children with satisfying answers about where their loved ones- especially grandparents- go after they leave this earth. Dr. Keys understands how difficult it can be to discuss death with children, and Grand Angel helps families facilitate these tough conversations.

I love Bippity Bop Barbershop by @natashatarpley! We read this to our son before his first hair cut. On his first trip to the barbershop, Miles is afraid of the scissors, the buzzing razor, and the prospect of a new hairstyle. With the support of his dad, and others in the barbershop, Miles bravely sits through his first haircut.
